Fall Camping Opportunities Abound at MSR......

Now that fire season is over and frost has returned to the North Fork McKay Creek, Fall camping season is now underway. Hunting season is in effect until December 8th, but there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy fall camping adventures at MSR!

Units are welcome to camp in the corral/HQ area on ANY weekend from now thru December! This includes Confluence, Elk and Corral Campsites. Activities are restricted to this corral area during active hunting weeks.

Units are welcome to camp at ALL MSR camps during two windows before Thanksgiving: October 10-22 and October 28-November 15

There is no active hunting in these periods and all trails and camps are available for unit camping. The side creeks are running again so there is water available for filtration at Rendevous and Douglas camps up Calamity Creek, McKay Creek Camp, and at Marshall Camp on the High Divide Trail.

Units are welcome to camp in the corral/HQ area from November 16 to December 8th. Some limited access for day hikes MAY be available upon request - check with Carl Imhoff to see if access can be arranged.

To Reserve Your Campsite, contact the Scout office or email lori.miller@scouting.org.
